Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Stashd ("the Service"), available at trystashd.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Stashd is a web application that lets you save, organize, and search social media content from platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. When you save a link, Stashd uses artificial intelligence to extract key information, generate summaries, and categorize the content. You can organize saved items into collections and share them with others.

3. User Accounts

To use Stashd, you must create an account using one of our supported sign-in methods (Google, Instagram, TikTok, or email and password). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Stashd. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you save and the collections you create on Stashd. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over your saved items or how you choose to organize them.

You are solely responsible for the content you save. This includes making sure you have the right to save and, if applicable, share that content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use Stashd to save, store, or distribute illegal or harmful content.
  • Scrape, crawl, or otherwise access the Service through automated means beyond normal use.
  • Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or any content obtained through it.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any entity.

6. Social Media Content

Stashd processes publicly available content from third-party platforms including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. Stashd is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of these platforms.

You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of the platforms from which you save content. Stashd does not guarantee the continued availability of any saved content, as the original creators or platforms may remove it at any time.

7. AI Processing

When you save content to Stashd, it is processed by third-party AI services (currently OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate summaries, categories, and tags. By using the Service, you consent to this processing.

AI-generated summaries and categorizations are provided for convenience and may not always be fully accurate. Stashd does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of any AI-generated output.

8. Shared Collections

You may share collections publicly (via a shareable link) or with specific people. When you share a collection, the items in it become visible to anyone with access. You are responsible for what you choose to share, and you should not share content that you do not have the right to distribute.

9. Payment & Billing

Stashd offers a free plan (up to 15 saves) and a Plus plan at $6/month (or $59.88/year) with unlimited saves. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Stashd does not store your payment card details.

You may cancel your Plus subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to Plus features until the end of your current billing period. Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods.

10. Intellectual Property

The Stashd name, logo, design, and underlying technology are owned by Stashd and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without prior written permission.

As stated in Section 4, you retain all rights to the content you save and the collections you create.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that harms the Service or other users. You may also delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your saved content may be permanently deleted.

12. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any content or AI-generated summaries will be accurate or complete.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Stashd and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
